"Chip In" to Help Feed James!
Let's face it; a world without James! going thread-to-thread posting cryptic code and CSS solutions would, for lack of a better word, suck.
The guy is godsend to many of us who turn to the RT forums for help.
This is not to saw that the entire ModSquad is not helpful, as I could name a dozen guys who go thread-to-thread helping everyone out; but as James' post count approaches 28K (granted, he often has to post the same solution 3-4 times, as our boy genius is so far above we mortals, his inferential leap that we know what the hell he is talking about is often lost in translation), clearly he has dedicated a great deal of his life helping others. Moreover, with nearly 28K posts, clearly I am not alone on the receiving end of his help.
His birthday is fast approaching and we, the RT community, run the risk of losing him to, oh, girls (or boys, if he bats for that team
) or hanging out with his pub mates eating fish and chips and drinking pints! This would be a tragedy of Shakespearian proportions!
Therefore, I am proposing we all kick in a few shinnies to get him the best B-Day gift ever!
Given his affinity for all-things-Mac, I thought an iMac would be the perfect gift...his dream of an edible computer would reach fruition! However, he is planning a trip across the pond, so perhaps all who he has helped will help offset the costs...
